Knoxvillians: Expect good things from your Valentine this year. Amazon.com has named Knoxville the second-most romantic city in the country.
Amazon announced its annual list of the top 20 most romantic cities after compiling sales data of romance novels and relationship books (Kindle Books and print books), romantic comedy movies (digital movies and DVDs), Barry White albums (CDs and MP3s), along with sexual wellness products, since Jan. 1 of this year on a per capita basis in cities with more than 100,000 residents.
In a news release, Amazon named Knoxville its “most improved” in the romance department, with the city moving up 14 spots from last year’s survey.
