Fetish ... mania, fetish ... magic. Infatuation? Illusion or reality. The powerful suductiveness of fetishes! The incredible phenomenon of the fetish world. As we discussed earlier, there are endless examples of fetishes. Some of the most "popular" fetishes are leather, bondage, spanking, foot worship, lingerie and S&M, to name just a few. Some examples of off-color risky fetishes are called watersports, bloodsports and edge-play. Watersports is a term which includes urination, defication and enemas, etc. Amazing? Who in their right mind wants to have or give a golden shower? Or a brown shower?
Sick? To most it is, however some people find it extremely erotic! Some theories say it stems from toilet training during childhood. The association is derived from the child's perception of connecting the love and affection from the mother's praise of the toilet training activities and then not being able to seperate the two, or leave it behind when crossing over to adulthood. Others say it's simply used as a form of degradation or humiliation.
Some folks attest that the type of scene play with the use of pins, knives or scalpuls is spiritual and ritualistic. These rituals are favorable practices umongst a small group of lifestylers and or the leather folks including the gay community. Workshops and demonstrations are commonly displayed about these subjects at large national Conventions which cater to specific fetishes.
The fetish for the wearing of uniforms has become increasingly popular over the last several years. Police uniforms, nurse uniforms and military uniforms have created a lot of interest in the fetish community. And fetishists spend lots of time and money collecting and adding pieces to their uniforms. These uniforms are also designed in coloful leather apparrel and in tight latex materials of shiny, shocking colors for those exciting and daring fetishists who enjoy the most outrageous of fetish costumes! Fetish clothes of this description can only be found in select speciality stores or you must have them "custom-made".
So whether you call it your fancy, or your fetish, your passion or the object of your intense desires, there are different strokes for different folks and a million and one different fetishes. So take a good look because it's true that in many cases one's obsessions or infatuations could be classified as a fetish.
