This idiot, Plaxico Burress, will cost himself millions of dollars due to this arogant attitude. He makes Millions, doesn't understand who is responsible for what he has and goes into a club with Illegal gun.. I hope he does get prison time.

Now I don't have a problem with folks owning guns and protecting themselves but they need to abide by whatever law is applicable. This guy carried a pistol into a club because of his "BLING" and Cash. Shot himself by accident and says he is not guilty.. Give me Break....:stupid: Plaxico.

an open invite for those on the left to point out how much more stringent gun control is needed. They won't even bother to realize that enforcement of the existing laws (he was illegally carrying) is actually the answer. Yet another example of an irresponsible gun owner creating a situation which could be viewed as bad publicity for gun ownership.

It is also important to note the fact that had he been current on his CCDW permit in Florida, it was not valid in New York. It is very important for responsible gun owners to be aware of the laws of any state you plan to travel to (one reason I rarely cross the border into the completely anti-Constitution state of Illinois).

I agree buildingcode, we definitely do not need more laws...like gun control laws stop the criminals-ha! It just will affect those who want to carry legally...
