When you register on this site you must give a valid email address. After you've registered, then you should receive an activation email that must be confirmed before you can become a registered member of Southern GFE. Until you do this there will be a message under your screen name in your member profile that says Awaiting Email Confirmation and you will be restricted in your access to the boards.
If you can't find the activation email, make sure you've checked any spam folders associated with your email account, since the board's automated emails are sometimes misidentified as spam by some filters. If you still can't find the activation email, then you can request to be manually activated here or by sending a request using the Contact Us link at the top of the page.
